After more than seven years, we finally returned to Vilamendhoo, a true gem in the breathtaking South Ari Atoll. This place holds a very special place in our hearts—not only because we got married here in 2024, but also because it continues to enchant us with its paradisiacal beauty. Vilamendhoo isn’t just an island; it’s a slice of heaven on Earth, with turquoise waters, pristine white beaches, and an underwater world that feels like a dream come true.

The reef surrounding the island is alive and vibrant—a stunning explosion of color and life. The corals are starting to recover beautifully after the last bleaching event, and the sheer abundance of fish is awe-inspiring. From turtles and schools of surgeonfish to curious reef sharks, every dive offers something unforgettable.

The diving experience is flawlessly organized: morning two-tank boat dives promise thrilling underwater adventures, while relaxed single dives are available in the afternoon. But the true highlight is the house reef—a magical spot you can explore independently at any time. Diving straight from the beach into this underwater wonderland is an experience that stays with you forever.
